    Hello,

    I bought the newspaper blog theme and they use blocks on the page. I want to build a filter search on the left sidebar and show search result on the front page.

    Do I need use custom options or shortcodes?

    if I want to add search result with the shortcode to their block template, how can I add it?

    Another option, I have visual comp.Can I add shortcodes there?

    I decided to put my search on the different page.it works.How can I add pagination to result.php or any other place?

    results.php has basic pagination (as does the default WordPress). To improve this, install the free https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-pagenavi/ plugin.
