    I am trying to return all of the posts by the same author and ‘author’ is an ACF field that returns a Post Object all while using quotations around the author. But when I use quotations, I get posts that only by that author opposed to getting posts by that author and posts by that author along with other authors. Is there a way to get only posts by that author even if they co-authored a post?

    This ACF field, does it only have one author in it, or is it a multivalue field (an array) with all the authors in?

    Multivalue, because you can select more than one author for a post.
