    I can see this error message on your site at the top of the admin pages:

    Search & Filter Error: The caching tables are missing – click here to create them

    Yes you run that in SQL. I usually use a plugin called ARI Adminer (as long as your hosting allows it to work).

    The deactivation system typically takes about 30 minutes to show any changes, so check again or give it more time.
