    Hi Claudia

You cannot use taxonomies for prices – you must use custom fields. This is because Custom Fields can contain numerical data, and taxonomies are just plain strings (even if you are entering prices).

I would suggest using a plugin like Advanced Custom Fields (http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/) to create a price field on your posts/products.

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,
thanks for your reply. Actually I’m not interested in a price field, but in a filter field like the one you created for the price in the Demo 2 (let’s say, a filter field ‘slider type’). So I was wondering which is the option you used in your demo to create such a field. Thanks

So in Advanced Custom Fields, I would use a number field – so I can add a numerical value to my posts (whether it is price, rating – something numeric)

Then in S&F add a post meta field, choose the “number” tab, and choose slider 🙂

    Thanks
