Hi, my filter checkboxes show all values checked in the post as one choice each. I want to show them as single values I can filter. To be clearer: My posts have a choice of paper formats (lets say 1, 2, 3, 4), if I check more than one of them within one post they show each combination as a filter choice like this: choice one: 1, choice two: 1|2|3, choice three: 2|3|4 and so on. But I need a result of all posts which have at least one of the single values checked. So the list should look like: choice one: 1, choice two: 2, choice three: 3, choice four: 4 and so on. And for each value I select it should narrow the filter to the ones which have one or more of these values checked. No idea if I was able to explain clearly, but I hope you can help.

    Thanks, Andy

Are you able to show me a live page/link/URL that I can see this on?

    I think I do see.

There is a field called post-meta-papierformat. I assume this is a custom field (meta key). Is it a single data entry field or a multi data entry field (stored as an array? In ACF ( a popular field plugin), you can create such a multi value array field (as a multi-choice drop down select).

This is how your data must be stored.

It cannot be a single field with data like 1,2,3,4 as this is not a data array format as used by WordPress meta keys.

Thanks! I use WP User Frontend Pro and created a custom field with those choices as single checkboxes. So you say I should use a different field type (like multi select) for this?

Yes, a multi-select should do it. Give it a trial with a couple of posts.

Well, it is not working. It is always combining the selected values to one single choice. Tried with multi-select (you can see on the page). Any ideas?

That would be great, what time tomorrow would fit you?

What timezone are you in? The site is Austrian? So maybe you are one hour ahead of me, so mid afternoon?
