I presume you refer to using the Shortcode Display Results option? That method uses our own results.php template, which you could edit to make your own grid, if you have the coding skills. However, what theme are you using? Does it have a (posts) grid system, or maybe you have Visual Composer plugin?
Anonymous(Private) April 17, 2017 at 12:03 pm #103400Hi Trevor
Thanks for the quick reply. I’m using Make Plus, which has a template for a grid style layout of images and one for posts.
I have a list of venues that I would like to make filterable by location (e.g. region, city, etc). I’d like the filtered results to display as a “grid”, say 3 items per row.
Hope that makes sense.
Cheers

[searchandfilter id="307" action="filter_next_query"]
Where the ID number would be changed for the one for your form. You would need to set the Display results method to
Custom
.Anonymous(Private) April 17, 2017 at 12:36 pm #103408I tried as you suggested, but it didn’t make a difference unfortunately.
This is what I’ve done:
1. Created a new page in WordPress dashboard.
2. Used my theme’s ‘posts’ template, which pulls together selected posts and displays items in rows and columns.
3. Added S&F form, which displays filtered results one below the other. What I’d like is for the filtered results to retain the original display. I’ve selected the Custom box in S&F, but I don’t know where to find the ‘filename of the custom template’.
Trevor(Private) April 17, 2017 at 12:56 pm #103418The search is set up as a Posts search. Is there particular page you are having the form on, or all pages, and do you have a specific results page in mind?
I can see that you also have WooCommerce installed. However, you have not yet set it up. I would strongly recommend going through the whole setup process answering all questions, even if you do not know the answers yet! You can always go back and edit them later, but without running the Setup Wizard, many things will not work correctly.
I can see that you do not have a ‘posts page’ set.
